Cheap Loud Exhaust! :)

Anybody out there find any good ways to buy or create a real loud exhaust without the use of a cut-out that is in-expensive. Ive been trying to think of ways to use a glass pack muffler or the dynomax bullet muffler and make it into an exhaust set-up, without spending a lot of money. Anyone out there that can help, I will take any advice! Thanks

Cory

P.S. I really want the Loudmouth from SLP, but that is way to expensive to be loud LOL.

Do a search on "dynomouth". That sounds like what you want. You replace the stock muffler with a bullet muffler. I have a friend who did it on his car, it sounds a little bit like Loudmouth.

Just take the rear section off, the muffler with the pipe if you have a v-6 or pipes if you have an 8. It will be nice and loud, Keep it around for inspections each year, I know a few people doing this and they have no problem with cops stopping them. With exhausts like the Loud mouth they dont harrass as much anymnore.

The only thing is, depending on how old you car is, you may have a rough time getting the muffler off with out damaging it, i did and i have a 95.

i was thinking about just taking the muffler off....but im not so sure about that, i have a gutted cat, that would mean, absolutly no back pressure and that will kill my horse power, these engines have to have a little back pressure. I dont understand your dynomouth exhaust plan. I know people buy the loudmouth then put a bullet muffler in place of the catalytic converter with the resonator after it and that quiets it down a little. But i just have the stock exhaust right now, and i would love to do something with the bullet muffler or something i dont know. Thanks

I believe TBYRNE has the Loudmouth on sale for the month of April. 30% off, so it's going for around $297. Which, IMO is a great deal for it

cut off the exhaust at the end of the y-pipe and have a dynomax bullet out on the end of your Y, my friend did and it sounds badass, very simialr to true duals.

Loud.
Remove the muffler, put a dynomax bullet in its place. Cheap, loud and easy.
