Changing Spark Plug wires ?????
Changing Spark Plug wires ?????
I went to my mechanic shop and they said that it will cost me $80 to change the wires (+ I have to but a wires by my self). They said that it takes 2 hours, is that true?
Thanks
ps. What is the best way to do that

DO NOT pay $80 plus the cost of wires to have them installed!!!
Take the time and do it yourself....it isn't hard, just follow the routing of your old wires and you'll be fine.
Tell them to go take a hike....if it were plugs you were changing with stock manifolds, I can see where it would take 2 hours (more) but not just wires.

After I installed a bad set of wires on my T/A I had to go back and do just the wires. It took me about 2.5 hrs from start to finish (including the time to jack it up and all that). I also have headers on my car so it might be easier or harder to on your car if you have stock manifolds. My guess is it would be harder.

Like it's been said, do it yourself, you'll save money, learn stuff, and make sure everything is right instead of having them f something up. It's really not that hard, just time consuming.
