Changing Radiator this weekend....

Like the title says I'm changing the radiator this weekend, as its origional and since I put the origional 18# cap on its falling apart (Tubes are splitting and its corroded). Is there anything I should be particularly careful about?

I've read and re-read shoebox's guide to refilling the radiator so I know about the venting. Should I flush the block since I used a bottle of Bar's Leak liquid aluminum radiator stop leak? Should I check the thermostat too to make sure its not clogged with stop leak?

Definately flush it out. I would also suggest changing thermostats. If you used the stop leak in your system, your at a greater risk of of getting the thermostat clogged open or close in the future. It cheap enough and easy to replace. however that could be done anytime you want. Otherwise follow shoebox's instructions and you should be ok.

I'll just pull the thermostat and rinse it off. It was about 5 months old since i put it in.

Ok guys, new question... My overflow bottle seems to keep filling but not draining back into the radiator. Where exactly is the lower hose for that tank? And why would it do that?
