Just take lots of breaks. The job is a major S.O.B. If you had headers it would be quite a bit easier.

Re: changing plugs ???s

I have Pasesetter LT's on mine and have found the easiest way is to use the plug socket with a 3/4" wrench. Also some plugs are much easier to get from the bottom of the car. Seems like 1,3,5,& 7 are easiest from the bottom and 2,4,6,& 8 are best done from the top.

slp has it or you could pick a regular socket up from sears or somewhere and grind it down.

Re: changing plugs ???s

I found the best way to change plugs on the passengers side is to pull the Y-pipe. It will make things SOOOO much easier.

On the driver's side I was able to do them all without too much difficulty from under the car.

Re: changing plugs ???s

be very careful when threading the plugs back in, don't force them in and don't overtighten. well..... unless you wanna pull the head off for a helicoil .

Re: changing plugs ???s

I pulled my A/C and can get to all of them from the bottom, #8 is still a pain but it takes me about 15 minutes to do them all with stock manifolds from under the car.
I took a peice of vacuum hose on the end of the plug for the hard ones and started them with that. Just use the line to get the plug in the hole and turn it just enough that it starts and you can pull of the line.

Still have A/C and manfolds? good luck
