Changing optispark drive oil seal, how hard? Install guides?

Got to change out the seal on the back of the opti, it's leaking like a bitch!! Does anyone have any tips, advice or install pages?

Removing and installing is no big deal, just make sure you have the right seal. or the easy way out is to get a new timing cover with seals from dealer.

agreed. a new cover with seals cost me 75 or so.

If you opt to just replace the seal, just pry it out with a screw driver and gently tap the new one in. Probably clean the surface of oil before putting the new one in. Thats how I'd do it

I didn't think of getting the whole cover new. I'd kinda like to stay away from that because I ripped the heck out of my oil pan gasket taking the cover off. If I take off the cover I will have to jack up the motor and take the pan gasket out this time. However I do have a high volume oil pump waiting to be installed Nah I think for now I'll just get that seal and see if that works.
