good luck. I know it can look anything but gracefull when you try to get the sensor in the hole quick enough to avoid spilling. I like how you say "area for the spillage...." you make it sound like the Exxon valdez tanker accident!

I just changed the knock sensor and it went very smoothly. I have a
convertible so I had to remove the small brace and worked on each
side of the crossover pipe (I have stock manifolds). I would guess that
less than 4 oz of coolant was lost. Much better than I expected.
