Question Changed water pump yesterday, have a few ???

Hey guys,

I just changed the water pump on my 95 Trans Am. Everything went well, but I noticed a nipple coming from the tubing on my smog pump that looks like a small vacuum line should go to. I'm positive there wasn't one there when I took it apart, don't know if there ever was one there. I should have taken a pic of it to show you guys, but I was anxious to get it back together. It's just a small piece of plastic between 2 of the larger tubes with that little nipple, like its for a small vacuum line. I didn't check to see if it was sucking air, I guess I should. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks, Rene, That's exactly what I needed to see to rest my mind. I didn't think anything was there before.
