changed differential fluid...problem is still here.

I replaced my rear end fluid with mobil 1 SAE 75W-90 synthetic with the gm addative. My problem didn't go away at all. It still feels like bad wheel hop when i'm turning right from a stop. It also sort of does it turning right in 2nd when i'm going slow. But very rarely. Does anybody know what else this could be? Do you think my bald tire would cause this?

How could i find out if the posi is bad or not. I didn't see any metal chips in the rear at all. The car only has 50,500 on it.

96 Z28? You probably have an Auburn posi in there and Auburn's do NOT like synthetic oil. Go to Auburn's web site to be sure, but they told me to keep dino-oil with Lubrizol additive in the rear end....no synthetics for Auburns!

I'm not trying to accelerate to hard. It's not spinning out because if i give it more gas it will start to slide out. It just feels like the wheel is hopping or something.

Auburns web page states their posi will not work properly with synthetic fluid.
