Ceramic coated or Jethot coating?

Whats it better to get your headers coated with jethot (I hope thats what its called) or the ceramic coated ones?
I'm look at a set of SLP headers and foudn a great deal $549 ceramic coated with y pipe, or $399 wiht y pipe but no coating.
What ones should I get? the ceramic coated one, or the none coated one and hten get them coated? and how much is getting htem coated?

Well..... JetHot is a ceramic based thermal coating. JetHot does alot of the headers for manufacturers.

In the case you mentioned, you should get the set thats already coated. You're gonna have a hard time finding someone who'll coat em for less than $150 plus shipping, handling etc..

Just get the coated ones. I have the coated ones from SLP for over a year and they still look great!

JJ: Do yours still look like chrome? I've had my SLP's for just over 2k miles, & they already look gray (I like this better anyway - I'm not a big fan of chrome - just curious).

I would say that they look the same as just about any other ceramic coated header after a lot of miles. They still have the same chromish look to them, just more dull than when i originally got them.
