will i be ok running my 3.42s with the 306 for a lil till i can get the gears changed out or will that cam no go good with the 342s?

 

I was wondering the same thing but with 3.23's i have the stock 3.23's will they be able to handle a cc306? cuz i want a more powerful cam

 

comp suggests a 3200 stall for 3.23 and m6 suggests 4.1 gears for the cc306. you could get a way with the 3.73 in an manual but you'll be cutting the 60' time short.

auto you should at least go with a 3.42 setup...i have a 383 with 3.23 and a 2800 stall and it's not enough. it bogs down until i hit about 3500 rpm. i'll be going stick soon with a dana 60 rear and some 3.73's....or 4.1 i havent decided. i was also looking into a 1/2. transfer case or a 3/4 transfer case to cut my final gear down on the freeway. i think someone on here had one and it was a nice setup.
