CC306& LE1 heads...powe range?
Im putting a cc306 in my car and thinking about doing the LE1 head setup. What do you guys thing it will make around? Figure with all the basic bolt ons, headers,tb,cai, msd, ect. just some ball park figures..seeing if its even worth the 700 im going to have to spend(i already have all the hardware so its only 700 for the port work) i know the cc306 will make about 350rw..and if i only see an addition 10-15rw..it really wont be worth it.
Re: CC306& LE1 heads...powe range?
With all big cams the power is gonna peak around 6500 rpm which means for best results(at the track) you gotta spin the motor to 7000 rpm. I dunno what the range is but again its gonna be high compared to smaller cams... more ideal for a street driven 350 in my opinion.

I have the 306, LE1 heads, and bolt ons. I put down 400 RWHP and 364 RWTQ. I think the $700 is well worth the 50 HP. before the heads I had the 306 only. The difference after the heads is amazing.

The heads are definately worth it. My car picked up .4 tenths by going from stock heads to LE1's a couple years ago. I had the same cam all I did was send the heads to Lloyd and put them back on and the car went from 12.00's@113mph to 11.60's@117mph so it was definately worth the cash. Later Clint
