cc306 build starts...then dies. Help pls
Just wrapping up my cc306 build. Sounds awesome!
Heres the problem. It's got a nice lope on it, me and my machine shop tech did all the work and it fired up nice. Adjusted the rockers no problems.
It seems tho the rockers are adjusted (1.6 SA RR) i still need to tap the gas to get the car started... wont start if I don't.
Now I have the CAI on, MAF and Elbow the car starts but boggs down. Tried adjusting the throttle stopper with no luck.
MAF is connected, the IAT is not... I need to reconnect it to the harness...
The car sounds awesome, just want to start it without hitting the gas... and keep it running...
car has 0 miles on the rebuild, any ideas to get this thing down to an idle?

Ion @ MADZ28 did the tune, and i have a aldl scanner, but the 95s were OBDi with a 12 pin connector so the scanner doesn't read from the aldl. here is some more info on the system
CAI uninstalled, bleed the lines don't think any coolant got on the opti (MSD pro Billet) I just went back outside with a dry ppr towel and swept the opti area... no dampness on the ppr towel.
Fuel stock pump (haven't installed the 255lph yet), 36lb accels adjustible FPR reading 45-50 psi and when cranking (starting) down to about 35-40
Im going to play with the FPR tomorrow, and try to tinker with the timing on the MSD (adjustible screw) I don't know what its set at, its adjustible +/- 6 degrees I will see tomorrow where it is.
exhaust is pacesetter LTs... EGR! AIR! no pipes on it yet... Just the LTs

Maybe we locked down the SA RR's to much. I've heard they can be picky...
He was doing the work, I normally lock them down 1/4 turn after 0... I don't know what he did. Maybe ill try and back them off in 1/8ths and see how it idles when i loosen er up...
