Re: Cc306 ?

sorry for the hijack, but why are you using factory rockers? Id think youd want to wait until you get 1.6 rockers and then buy new pushrods with the corect length, then buy pushrods for use w/ just the stock rockers.??

Re: Cc306 ?

I dont know if they change the pushrod length or not. Use your stock one and turn the motor over by hand. Watch to see if the tip of the rocker arm pushes down on the CENTER of the valvestem. Actually, it will sweep across it. But if you have the correct length, it stays closest to the center. With the distance from each side being nearly identical. At full lift it should be on the intake side of the valve stem. At no lift, the fender side of the valve. And in mid lift areas it should be just about dead centered.

Re: Cc306 ?

The spring height is going to be an issue, and I'm hoping you changed those. Comp's website has a good section on valvetrain geometry, youll need a $10-15 pushrod length checker.

Re: Cc306 ?

As long as the heads have never been milled or the block decked, 7.2"

If these have been altered, you need to get a pushrod length checker, and find out exactly what you need.
