CC305 guys

What were you inital thoughts after the cam install? See signature, I really didn't get the power boost I thought I was going to get. I'm still haven't got it tuned for the cam. She's running fine but if you put me next to a stock LS1 I don't feel I could take one.

It's all in the tune. When i got done installing my new motor with a CC305 and started it for the first time i could barely drive the car. Had no low end power at all and would pop back through the intake.

Did the PCMFORLESS deal and it was a night and day difference. More power and great driveability. Get it tuned and go from there.

definitely get it tuned and them make your observations. i had 3.73 gears and a 2400 stall but there was no doubt in my mind that i could take a stock ls1. the car would absolutely scream compared to the way it was before.

A dyno tune is the only way to hit it right on the money. The other tunes can work but they are in the end, just guesstimating.

Thxs, I guess I thought I would be able to get away without tuning it for a while. But yeah getting her in 1st gear is tough.
