Question CC pro mag RRs..7/16 or 3/8 studs needed ?

I am looking at buying a set of CC pro mag 1.6 RRs and the ones I found are the NSA 7/16 stud kind. I know CC also offers the 1.6 rockers in a 3/8 stud version. What is the diff. ? and wich do I need ? I plan on going pretty wild with my LT1 so I'm not sure wich kind I need.

The stock studs are 3/8", but you should upgrade to ARP 7/16" studs anyway. They will flex a little less at higher rpm.

The 7/16 rockers are a much better way to go, you need a high quality ARP or Comp 7/16 rocker stud and the GM guideplates PN 14011051

This is a very good way to go for most HR cam setups.

Does anyone know if I can use the combination motorsports guideplates with arp 7/16" studs and pro magnum 1.6 rockers? Do I absolutely have to use the GM ones as stated above? I know that in some cases the guideplate can cause the hex of the stud to be too close to the rocker.

Do you think I will have problems if I don't buy the GM guideplates?

I'm using Combination's guide plates in my TA with no problems.

I am using "Isky" adjustable guide plates. I had problems with the ARP guide plates not centering the rocker over the valve stem.
