depends on the head flow numbers, but yes.... custom cams are better though for most apps. i've seen a cc306 with gtp stage 3's trap 120 on 3.73's and a 3200 stall

Get SVO 36lb'ers vs the Accel's. Have heard some Accel's have had problems. Do some weight reduction. Go with a 12 bolt over the 9" for further weight savings. You have an auto also so it won't be as harsh on the rear, so a 12 bolt will be more then enough.

2500 stall is not enough to take full advantage of the cc306 you really need 3500.other than that i see no reason you should not run in the gooood 11's

Yes there is.... Altitude. If your car runs 11's in say, New Jersey, then might as well make it 12's where i'm at, or Denver ect... We'll assume he's at a nice low elevation though since his location isn't stated. Altitude sucks...

Man I'm surprised... first thing you need to get rid of is that damn cc306... write that off your list... GO CUSTOM!!! for goodness sake! what's with all these $$$$ fantasy setups and off the shelf cams lately. Put some money towards the grind... that's where the power is.

mine has gone a best of 12.424@114.09 on the cc306 and stock heads. With 195k on the motor That was with a m6 and a crappy 1.993 60' so i know the car has 11's in it on the stock heads, i just can't get out of the hole, it needs gears badly. But yea if you're going with ported heads you can get a cam ground to match the flow numbers for a few hundred more, i think its worth it considering how much this is going to cost you.
