cats w/ LTs?

cats w/ LTs?

planning on buying my new headers and all the other stuff i need for it this week, but i cant figure out with a y-pipe will i have 1 or 2 cats and where they would be at. searched arond the board for others that may have done it, im just trying to keep the car street legal in north carolina.

Are those the Pypes mini-cats, if so, that is the same setup I am running as well.

ok think im gonna do it... pacesetter LTs with emissions , the pacesetter y-pipe and 2 pypes mini cats. Gonna try and find a shop to weld them in, is this goal pretty feasible and gonna pass inspection in NC.Any info would be appriciated

I got a pacesetter ORY with 2 high flow dynatech powercats welded in,
looks really good.

I am actually selling this if you are interested.

I paid a shop a hundred bucks to weld my two mini-cats in and it passed the strict IL emissions the following week. What kind of emissions do you have, the plug-in style or the sniffer test?

i think nc has the plug in, last time i took it in i never saw any snifferes

As long as you don't have an illuminated SES light and your AIR & EGR systems are functioning properly as well as a pair of 02 simulators plugged into the rear 02 sensor harnesses, you should pass with no problem.
