I believe there is an extended warranty on emissions equipment.. 8 yrs/80k miles? Might be WAY off but Im pretty sure its well beyond the 3 yr/36k standard bumper to bumper youd drive off the lot with.

Yup your right.
8 yrs/80k miles thats what the dealer told me when mine went.
Went on the day of the 8th year to the day.
I was past the mileage.
