Catalytic Converter Help

I have a 97 Z28.
I have been hearing a rattle since I had my engine installed.
Well I found out where the rattle was comeing from.
The Cat!
The jerk must have droped the exaust and broke the cat.
So I would like to know what I need to get.
Down the road I want to get some headers but want to keep my Catalytic Converter's.
Any body know where I can get the cat cheap?
Its the pasanger side one.
So do I just replace it with the stock units or what?
I don't want to have to replace them agine because I got headers.
I'm probley going to get SLP headers unless some body has better ones that let's me keep my cat's and smog pump.

Thanks,

Chris.

Re: Catalytic Converter Help

I'd check out the For Sale and Parts Wanted sections. Perhaps someone who dumped their Cat(s) can help you out.JMHO

Re: Catalytic Converter Help

It's hot enough.
Don't want to add more pollution.
I'm building a race car for the track.
So my camaro is what I drive every day.
Just like to get the most out of it for the street.

Thanks,

Chris.
