Which Cat should I get

Installing MAC headers and I didn't realize that the cat will have to be replaced (and yes I am gonna use a cat I don't feel like getting one of those monstrous fines)...

Which cat should I get? I'm hearing Catco from one person, and I think someone else said Random Tech... Also, I'll have to have a flange welded to my y-pipe for this to work?

I have a magazine like Hot Rod that did a flow test on cats and random tech flowed the best then carsound. I don't remember if they did catco or not but it's hard to be the price of catco. Your mods are very similar to mine have you ever taken your car to the track? If so what did you run?

The difference in flow between one aftermarket cat to the next will be negligble at best. Sure, Random Tech is "supposed to be the best" but the marginal benefit from that over the $80 Catco cat is not justified on 13 second car. What's important is that you keep the exhaust system 3'' all the way back to eliminate all bottlenecks. I put my vote in for Catco all the way.

I ran a 13.9 @ 101 with a bad clutch. I had a crappy 2.2 for a 60' too.
