Cat/no cat?

Which should I get, high-flow cat or have a straight pipe welded in? Legality doesn't concern me

You'll save some money by just putting in a straight pipe. As for performance, I'm sure the high-flow cat. will be very close to the straight pipe. If you do the straight pipe though, you will have to run an 02 simulator or have the rear 02 programmed out of your PCM.

he only has 2 O2 sensors.

Just put in a straight pipe. You wont have to reprogram the computer or anything and it will only cost about $40 to have a shop do it.

Most folks complain about the sound of removing the cat.
