cat converter question

cat converter question

i need a new cat converter for my 93 z28. would a 98 cat from a trans am fit my car? i have the single cat setup. thanks.

Nope.

Cats from 96+ cars are different size, since they are all OBDII and use dual cats. You could get it to work, but it will be slightly more restrictive (since it is only designed for one bank) and it will not be a direct bolt-in.
