Cat back shootout ?
Cat back shootout ?
Why doesn't GMHTP do a cat back shootout ? It would be of wider interest than the LS1 air box lid comparison in the current issue. I mean, how many times has this debate occurred ? The same is true for headers, both in terms of design and manufacturer. I think it's time for some independent dyno testing !
BTW, I have the Hooker system and I love it. The aluminized pipes are pretty cheesy, however. After just eight months of exposure to the New England climate, the intermediary pipe is covered with rust.

i think everyone on the board should send me a dollar, and then i'd have 44,000 dollars.....
and i'd test every catback, header, cai, gear ratio, and cam.
and post the dyno results for all to see....
then i'd sell all the parts, and donate what was left to a camaroz28.com get together...

No need, hooker wins
thats weird, i drove my z all winter up here in wisconsin and i just have a small amount of surface rust on the bottom of the pipe, it prolly would come off easily with some steel wool. they must use some harsh salts up there then.
