Cat back questions....
Cat back questions....
Im starting the performance buildup of my car and was wondering about catback systems....I have yet to decide if i should go with the magnaflow,slp catback,hooker catback or borla...i dont really care for the look of quad tips...im gonna stick with a pipe per side
so ill have to change out the hooker, borla, and slp if i go with them .....im leaning towards the magnaflow but im not sure yet...any help is greatly apreciated.....(im plannign on running lts, and a racing cat,or none at all...just to let u know of my exhaust plans...thanks for any help u can bestow upon me
later Steven

Re: Cat back questions....
if you search, you could find more on this subject than you ever want to know
but i'll help anyways
magnaflow is a good bargain because it's stainless steel and will hold up
the slp loudmouth can be had with the single tips i believe and is a pretty good deal also (albeit very loud
)
hooker is aluminumized so it won't hold up to the elements as well as stainless steel but since you live in ca, you might not have to worry about that
all produce pretty good sounds and performance gains
might i introduce you to gmmg though? gmmginc.net then click on chambered exhaust
this is what i have and i absolutely love it
it flows unreal and the sound is definately like an old school muscle car
some people are trying to get it on a group purchase in the "group purchase" section on here if you want to get it for a cheaper price
good luck with whatever you choose
but i'll help anyways
