Cast numbers!
Hey quick question. Can you trance a casting number from a block or cylinder head? To the exact original car it came out off ???? Does anyone know if this is possible I might have a stolen Engine

There is a VIN derivative stamped on the side of the engine block. There is nothing like that for the heads, though there are some early and late casting numbers.
