carbureted performer RPM airgap for EFI intake...

I made a thread a few days back and forgot to specify carbureted. Didnt know the new intake was also a performer RPM. whoops.

Anyway, I was thinking and did some research on these things. Seems like the new performer RPM airgap wipes the floor with the old vic jr (which the vic E is based on) and does pretty good at RPM with fairly large cams. I was considering using one of these for an intake conversion on a street/strip LT1. I've got a car with a single plane on it already and it runs well, but I'm building a new motor (couple actually) and I was thinking though that this might help the midrange torque/mileage aspect of things without a big hit on the top end. Cam isnt too hairy so I figured it might give me a nice suprise.

I was also considering using a RPM airgap dual quad intake as well and doing a comparison. I like building off the wall things, was wondering what you guys thought about one of these. I have never seen anyone do it.

Questions/thoughts?

Question

Just to clarify....

You're planning to use a RPM Air-Gap intake that's been converted to EFI or you're going to carburetion?

As for a dual-quad, I can't see it working (carb or throttle bodied) considering the space.
