Car Won't Turn Over...
Turn the key and it doesn't do ****. Doesn't even sound like the selenoid wants to kick it. I know its probably some wiring, but does anyone have an idea of which wires to look for.
I did have a hose split open on me and spill a bunch of antifreeze all over the place, but I've started it the day after (Tuesday) that happened just fine, I went out there yesterday and it didn't start up.
All the gauges work, battery tests at 12.3x volts, about 95% charge, and about 600 cranking amps, so the battery is fine.

After you try starting it and then turn the key to the off position does the security light stay on.If so it is the VATS system, wait 3-4 minutes for the light to go out and try it again and you will have to get it fixed or bypass it somehow.I have this problem right now and sometimes it takes as many as 6 tries to get it started which is 3min for every try so i am getting the VATS system programmed out of the computer by pcmforless.

Perhaps your clutch start switch. Yellow and brown wired connector on the clutch pedal. You can pull it off and bypass it with a paper clip for testing purposes.

Z won't start
I had the same problem this morning and couldn't start my Z. Just cleaned coolant level sensor yesterday to get rid of low coolant sensor light. In the process some coolant spilled because I didn't train any out. I had battery out of car. Put battery back in and started car fine and drove back in garage. This morning turned key to start and doesn't even crank. No security light because I disabled VATS with a resistor about a month ago and battey seems to have power to run everything. I hear fuel pump kick on. Wondering if it is starter or clutch switch? Anyone have a pic of clutch switch location? Would starter go bad just like that? Ever figure out why yours wouldn't start???
mine ended up being the starter itself. It had a bad spot in it. I hit it with a hammer a couple times and then it cranked over. I replaced it with a new one from OReilly Auto Parts (I work there and get awesome discounts) and now I have no problems.
where is the starter located?...i think my problem is the clutch switch possibly....
I have a 96 camaro z28 M6
i put the clutch in and turned the key and the lights in the dash lit up and my radio turned on but you couldnt hear a click, it wasnt trying to turn over....and so i took the key out and tried it again...same thing...i sat there for liek 2 mins and put it in and it fired up....
later on, i tried starting it after gettin home from a football game....this time i cranked it like 10 times and nothin...and then i start jammin the clutch in and turnin the key at the same time and i could hear it try to turn over...and finally after about 10 tries it started up...also i must have blown the cd player fuse, because it wouldnt turn on....
any ideas? getting fuel pressure, brand new battery maybe a month old, the old one was leakin acid...with the old leaky battery, in the cold, the car wouldnt start, you could hear it clickin but it wouuld never start until it was jumped...also, the low coolant light came on last sunday...but hasn't returned....
