Car wont stay running

I just chnged my intake manifold gasket and put evrything back together. well sometimes the car will start by itself and run for about 30 seconds b4 dying. most of the time i have to keep my foot on the gas for it to run and start. And it sounds like the throttle body is making a knocking noise. anybody now what would cause this??

That sounds similar to what happen to me . The gasket did not seal all the way causing it to not stay running . I had to buy performance LT4 gaskets because of the ports on the intake . Hopefully thats not it , I'd check it out if nothing else and be sure that the intake does not swollow that gasket .

The car is getting more air than the MAF is reading... Check for any type of intake leaks!
