well, i just intsalled my long tubes last week, everything was running fine and today i went to stop for a light, my check gauges light came on and the car shut off. it will only saty running when you pump the throttle. it will not idle. i've checked for burnt wires and can't find anything. emissions have been deleted and i have a friends computer in my car so i could send mine off to be tuned. any clues?

only emissions codes, and O2 sensors, nothing else

 

It seems to be a common problem on this board that O2s are dieing from new headers. The most reasonable explanation is the residue from forming the pipes is burning off and contaminating the sensors. The cure for you is to change the O2s, for others is to leave out the O2s for the first 10 or 20 minutes of operation.
