It runs fine when its cold. Its not getting spark. I got new spark plug wires and I'm gonna rebuild the opti. The contacts were all corroded on the coil and wire. The coil is sparking but the car wont start on nice days.

cold cold weather lengthens battery life significantly ... always start with the easiest most obvious thing... have the battery tested before you go rebuilding an opti

I had the charger on the battery till it was fully charged. The battery has more power when its warmer. Its done this a few times now.

If you have to go the opti route, get a new one and don't rebuild. Rebuilds don't seem to fare so well. A vented one for your 1995 can be had for ~$190-$200.

I can get the cap and rotor for $130. I'm gonna change the water pump too and get it over with for $135. With 120k on the clock its probly due.

LISTEN TO SHOEBOX!!! I also had a rebuild done to mine by a shop and it ran like crap and toasted a month later. Just buy a new on from Jason Cromer for less than 200.00 from the dealer.

The problem is that the cap and rotor are not the only things that wear out. There is a bearing that as it wears can spew particles into the area where the optical pickup is and can cause temporary blindness. A worn bearing can also cause instability of the shutter wheel and cause misfires. The optical section can fail on it's own from heat or just because it wants to die (as electronics can do).

For people already with the vented opti, IMO the best and most cost effective choice is replace with new. Those with non vented have a little harder choice because of the higher cost of the new unit.
