Car wont start, don't hear fuel pump pressureize system
Hey Guys and gals....
I just got finished installing my 95 LT1 engine, wiring harness/PCM. I went to crank the engine for the first time, I have replaced all the fuel lines from the engine to the tank.
I installed a Walbro 340 Fuel pump and when I go to turn the engine over, Idon't hear the fuel pump start and pressureize the fuel system like i did when I had the stock pump. I also cant get the engine crank over (using a M6).
I have checked all the electical fuses and relays and there fine. What could be wrong, does anybody have a clue??
Also, I had to run a wire to the fuse box in the engine bay for the fuel injectors since i had a 93 (batch fire) and "upgraded" to a 95.
When I checked the volage at the fuel pump connection on the chassis, I am only reading .010 - -010. I know the fuel pump is hooked up correctly in the tank because I have had 3 people check my installation before putting the fuel pump in the tank.
Any help is greatly appricated.
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

The pcm should energize the f/p relay for 2 seconds when the key is first turned on. That is the only time you will see voltage at the connector under the car when the engine is not running.
You could try jumpering 12v to the fuel pump prime connector. If that runs your pump, the pump is ok and you wil have to trace back to see why the normal circuit is not working.
