So i changed the head gaskets and put together and tightened down the rocker arms and hit the key and it started so I went to tighten the rocker arms and then it shut off and wont start. I readjusted the valve lash and still wont start. Can someone help me?

 

Are you using the correct procedure to set the lash?

 

yeah I did what my book told me. when I crank it, it feels like its turning to easy

 

What book would that be, and how did it tell you to set the lash?

 

Haynes. TDC tighten the nuts on both intake and exhaust on cylinder 1 till you cant move the pushrod up and down the tighten the nuts 3/4 do that to 2,5,7 intake 3,4,8 exhaust turn crank 360 3,4,6,8 intake 2,5,6,7 exhaust
