Car won't fire...

Hey if you guys could help me out...
Drove the car...ran fine...shut it off for a min to run in the store...after that it wouldn't fire again...for a few weeks now it hasn't fired. What would cause it just to die...no sputtering, no mis firing, just died.
Thanks

could be any number of things

you need to check for spark, fuel pressure, ect.

I know its the spark...just what part in the ignition would make it just die and not restart...if it was the optispark it would sputter and run rough before it died wouldn't it?

And you know it's spark how It's common for the check valve in the fuel pump to get stuck open making the car not want to start or even the fuel pump dying altogether. Save yourself some money, don't throw parts at it, diagnose the problem. Check for a hot spark and proper fuel pressure.
