Car Totaled

I'm not 100% sure the car will be totaled, but its pretty bad.

The car was hit last night while parked in front of Mike's (Kreinmc) house. A drunk driver hit my car and pushed it ~ 20 feet from where it was sitting - car was in gear. We were inside and heard the boom, then my alarn sounding. As we came outside, the guy was getting ready to drive off. I yelled and signaled for him to stop. He stopped and got out of his car. I just stood there in shock and the guy says, "I don't know what happened...I must have fell asleep." I asked if he was drunk and he said no. He kept apologizing saying how he had no idea how it happened. My car was parked on the left side of the road, relative to the direction he was traveling. Cops came and the guy was arrested for a DUI/accident.

I will have pics up soon - the back of the car is pushed forward 8-12". The passenger side rear quarter panel is creased and completely crushed. The back side of the t-top compartment is pushed in 6-8"...not the panels, but the actual metal. Looks like it is time for that 1997 SS I've wanted. If you have one for sale, let me know.

The car may be fixable, but at this point I'm hoping it is totaled because I'm afraid the car will never be the same.

That sucks dude. I had two winters beaters totaled in the last couple months. One was due to a drunk driver. Other was a damn 16 year old kid who didn't even have his license on him! Oh well...the second is still my winter beater, even though it looks ghetto as hell.
