Car stumbles/misfires when cold???

When I first start my 96Z in the morning and then after work, it will run crappy until it warms up and then its perfectly fine. You can feel it jumping from 6 to 7 to 8 cylinders randomly back and forth whenever you get on the gas at all. Its been going on for a while now and I think it started after I installed LT headers, new O2's and a x-pipe exhaust....if that has anything to do with it. Car has original opti-spark, a msd 6al ignition and msd coil.

All help appreciated thanks!

Any time a car is hard to start or runs poorly until it is warm generally points to the coolant temp sensor. It is the one on the waterpump.

OK that makes some sense. When I changed my waterpump last year I broke that sensor but just glued it back in. I'll change that out. Is it easy? Thanks....
