on my third pass at track tonight car fell flat on it face at the end of the quarter...engine died and wouldn't start. Thought maybe I'd ran out of gas even though it showed 1/8 tank....got towed back to the gas pumps and got some gas....car started right up, thought I was back in business but as soon as I pulled out of the pumps the car sputtered and died. Started back up and sputtered and died again....Car starts right up but won't idle...gave it gas but didn't act like it was even getting it...I just put a fuel pump in the car couple of years ago (the racetronix plug and play) any thoughts? Would running out of gas damage the pump because I did do that last week....what else could it possibly be?

 

As retarded as this sounds, there could be some crap in the fuel filter from running out of gas... might be worth a look.

Like we talked about earlier tho, throw the FP gauge on the car and see what it says before crank and post crank.
