Car sits outside in the weather= hard to start???

Hi,
Im trouble shooting a problem with my friends 93 T/A. The car usually runs great but when its left out over night in the rain or in the dew of the warmer months it doesnt want to start sometimes. It will crank and crank and nothing. Then if you let it set for a few hours or days inside the garage it fires right up. I havent got the car to my garage yet to really dig into it, but I was just hoping for some info on where a good starting point would be. Thanks for all your help.

J.

Its a 93 so unless it was changed, that would be unvented. An opti-moisture problem could be possible.

old wires may cause this too. if the wires are old and start getting porous they'll absorb ambient moisture in humid air and cause ignition problems.

Yeah it does still have the stock non vented opti on it. I was thinking that could be the problem but I didnt want him to get an opti untill we checked everything that it could be. Even if its the opti Im still haveing him get me wires cause Im not positive but I think they are originals. Thanks for your help and Ill give it a shot.
