The car should fire up today
Its been a long project this winter, I have a custom grind (one-off) cam from Bret, in a Nu-tekmotorsports 383 Long block. I replaced everything in the valve train, except the valves. Been working 12-18 hours of OT + working on the car makes it a LONG day. Some minor setback but otherwise went smoothly.
I had alot left to do. THe rest of the spark plugs, wires, passenger side header, EGR tube, waterpump, balancer, accessory bracket, AIR fittings... just alot of little things. I got most of it done last night
My best bud graciously offered to come down and assist. With out his assistance, i would not have gotten as far as I did. PLus he had some parts I had ordered
Really all that I need to do is cooling system, alternator, serp belt, harness, and play with the spark plug wires to avoid hitting anything. Then BLAM I will start her up with my new PCM program from Bryan Herter.
