Question Car runs better without front 02's?

Ever since I put in the 02 extensions and hooked up the 02's for the LT's it's run like crap (first 2-4 minutes of driving it will stumble and choke, very slugish) but I unhooked the 02's and it all went away. Do I have the 02's plugged in the wrong connectors? where are the front 2 connectors located?

I don't see how you can plug them up the wrong way. It's just a 4-pin flat conector. One connector on each side of the engine. I know that kind of vague. But it's just a 4-pin flat conector.

I know I didn't plug them in the wrong way, I was just curious too where the 2 connectors were for the front 02's cuz i might have plugged one of the front 02's into one of the rear connectors. (haven't gone under the car to check since it's been raining all day)

Just out of curiosity, Why did the magazine refer to you as "ricer who loves domestics"? isn't ricer a state of being or mind?

The rear O2 sensor has a 4 pin square connector, so it's impossible to get the pre and post O2 sensors mixed either.

The magazine cover is photo "chopped". I did it to make fun of ricers. And I must say I did a bad job with the picture.

Thank you well, there goes that theory, i'm now waiting for my pcm from PCMforless to arrive. see how it runs after that, but it bugs me why it will run better (albeit a bit richer) without thet 02's.. i mean, it probably isn't running better, it just seems that way! But it doesn't stumble like it does with the 02's in place.

actually i'm retarded for not paying close attention to the font and quality of the picture. just gave it a quick glance

The rear O2 connectors are square (still 4 pins)and the front are flat (4 as well). No way to plug them in wrong.

So a bad 02 could cause this stumbing? is that a indication of a bad 02 sensor? I plugged left sensor in today and drove it and no stumbling. i'm gonna plug in the right sensor and unplug the left and see how that goes. I love this game

the first 2-3 minutes of opporation is open loop meaning the O2 sensors are not even functioning yet or relaying info back to the PCM so they are basically inactive. unplugging them will be just like running the car in the first 2-3 minutes so what you first said isnt really making much sense... how it runs better with them unplugged than in the first couple minutes with them plugged in. maybe you mean it was running more than 5 minutes?

also, unplugging 1 O2 sensor will put the car in open loop as will unplugging both of them so it makes no difference if you unplug 1 today and then the other tomorrow b/c nothing will change.

I don't know what's going on then! Since I installed the front 02's it starting stumbling withing the most 5 minutes of driving and only lasted about 15-30 seconds. I basically unhooked both 02's and the stumbling went away. but I have no clue what the hell i'm doing
