Re: Car Is Running Like Dookie Experts Please Help

one more thing that slipped my mind on the car is i have noticed my air pump is really noisy when it runs so when i had it on the lift to night i was looking at it and noticed that there are inlet and outlet tubes on it, the inlet tube is broken off the pump and was wonderingwhere the inlet tube is suppose to hook up to in the first place and also if that being broken and missing if that would have anything to do with the way it runs? Oh yea and my opti, i was going to inspect it aswell tonight but i am not going to go threw the hastle of taking it off with out having all the gaskets and a new one to go back on. But i did notice my front seal is leaking and there is oil on the opti. Also on the bottom side of my opti there is a little tube hanging down is that possable a vented opti? even though it is a 94 car????????

Oil on the opti is not good! Make sure and get that off, clean it up, and replace that seal if you can. Also, from what Injuneer was saying, you should try unplugging your MAF and running speed density mode, and see if that makes your problem go away.

Did you pull plugs and see if you've got spark? Did you use some ether and see if it was not getting fuel?
