Car randomly dies...seems ignition switch related

I could just be driving down the street and the car will die... no accessories, no radio, no ignition... I do get head lights, etc... but When i turn the key back i will not get any accessories/radio...

Its done this before so I did replace the ignition switch (PITA!!!) and it worked... now its doing again, but its weird... If i reach all the way under the steering column and wiggle around the ignition switch connections it will start working again... but will die again most likely later that day, but just gotta wiggle the connections and it will start working again

I will almost bet you that this connector on your ignition switch is not making good contact. If it is not too damaged by heat, you can carefully rebend the terminal to make it tighten up. The other choice is to replace it with a new pigtail. Info in my ignition switch replacement guide.

:o Oops, that is why I specifically mention it in my write-up. :D

A little hard to get to, but you should be able to get the connector off without having to take things apart. It's just hard to work under there while standing on your head. :D
