well the opti and and coil and the ingnition module and plugs are 500 miles old the manifolds were getiing red and just recently it started acting like it has several plugs fould and now only one manifold is getting red please help you can also see it sparking were the coil wire plugges to the opti and see sparks jumping off the coil

 

the car also surges below 2200 rpm all i did was put a hotcam in and the motor is brnd new it has been chiped for the cam

 

manifolds mostly only turn red if the exhaust is clogged. check the cat.

 

Check and remove cat, also check how lean or rich you are running. Perhaps your tune or chip was programmed wrong.

no cat and the air fuel mixture is good at idle ed wright checked when i was up there

 

thats the only thing i can think of to, check the tune. do you know what the AFR is?

 

wonder if the opti crapped out and can the o2s cause it to buck down low and the manifolds to get red it ran real strong until it started sputtering just the manifolds were turning red
