Car not starting right???

My car had to crank for at least 10 seconds today before starting, its done it twice today. I was thinking it’s the fuel pump. Car runs fine after it starts and im almost positive that I used to hear the fuel pump come on after I shut off the car and now nothing. Any suggestions before I replace the pump???

And where is the best place to buy one

could be alot of things, check your fuel pressure first before buying a new pump, whens the last time you changed the filter

Did you check the fuel pressure and replace the fuel filter like other people have said? That seems like a good way to start. I don't really know what it could be though, it could really be any number of things. Can you hear your fuel pump before you start the car?

Check fuel pressure. That will tell you alot. Could be a bad regulator, fuel filter, fuel pump, injectors. You need to do a little testing.

You have a little computer chip in your key? When they get wornout you can have trouble starting your car. My car does pretty much the same thing and my friends dad (GM mechanic for like 20yrs) said its a strong possibility that its the key.
