I have a 96 lt1 with an M6. Now when im under 2000rpm in the higher gears the car starts jerking when i accelerate. This started last week after I went through an automatic car wash with an underbody spray (it was free). Any ideas what this would be.

 

Well, it could be the optispark. (distributor)
It really doesn't like moisture and the underbody spray isn't too good of an idea considering its location.

 

underbody wash + opti = bad news

 

Same problem on my 94, let me know if you solve it, I will do the same.

 

I get a similar hesitation, it just started recently, but I have done nothing to get the opti wet.

 

My car feels funny if i am going at higher speeds and i left off the gas and coast.
