car intermittenly starting/not starting PROB!

"Ok so my car seemed like it wasn't getting fuel at higher speeds and lower rmps a few weeks ago. Then it misfired a few times so I thought it was the opti. Then it just stopped starting. So to check the fuel pump I did the starting fluid test, car started sputtered shut off. Did a spark plug test car got spark, so I thought it was the fuel pump!
Changed the fuel pump this weekend, went to go start it, nothing.
Went to check the spark again, it starts.
Check the volts, ohms, ect of sensors, ICM, Coil, ect everything is fine.
Ignition control module seems like it could be the problem, go buy a new one, change it out, nothing happens. Talked to a friend said it could be the coolant temp sensor in the water pump, check those they are fine. No security light is coming on or flashing either. If it were the opti it would be misfiring really bad or just not working, it wouldn't start every now and then right? Could it be the PCM?

Here are some links to other threads I've started but haven't really helped but gives you a break down of everything I've done so far.

If you guys can help, I thank you way in advance"

"yes i have, i dont have a fuel pressure gauge but when I press on the shrader valve more than enough fuel is coming out (before it wasn't). It's getting fuel, tested all the injectors and they are pulsing and sending fuel fine. I've literally gone through everything in the engine compartment and wiring that could cause it to not be starting. I really don't think it is the opti at this point, I hope it is just the PCM, but going with my bad luck everything is closed at this point in time on sunday or they don't have any in stock."

Ok so I'm not home anymore as I had to get back to gainesville for class. But my dad tried a new PCM in the car today and nothing happened. Last I talked to him he was attempting to do all the test in the link posted. He wants to think it is the opti, but wouldn't the opti just work or not work, not start everyone once in a while or not? Com'on guys I know someone out there can help me out haha
