Hey guys I have been having problems with my car taking 2-3 turns from the key to start, or i had to turn the key on and off 2-3 times then it would start.
It did not matter how long I let it sit.

Well I run out of gas the other day and that killed my fuel pump..
So I replaced the fuel pump and now the car starts right up onthe first try no matter what, In fact i bearly turn the key half way and it fires up. It starts on the first try evey time no matter how long I let it set or what temp it is outside.

 

I'd guess the old fuel pump was taking a long time to pressurize the system... that's why it would start after a few tries over a short period of time.

It is fixed but crpa that fuel assembley is not cheap...
