the car finally runs, slight issue though

Hey guys i finally got my car running almost right now after 11 months of it being apart and redone. The problem is when driving the cars rpms hang at like 2000 rpm with clutch pressed in and not in gear, when stoping teh rpms don't drop until almost a complete stop, also idle is about 100 rpms i've seen it 300 rpms higher then its suppose to be car was tuned for 825 i believe and its idling around 900ish sometimes even touching 1100 before it drops back down. I tried the IAC from the guide off shbox and it brought the pms down to 900 when before they were 1100ish. Also driving at low speeds(i've only had the car up to 40mph so far) it bucks under little to no throttle sometimes worse then others is this cam surge i'm not quite sure because this is my first cam, or if its related to the other problems. Thanks for the help!

Have you checked for a vacuum leak?

possible that the throttle cable is sticking or the spring that works it maybe a little
rusty from sitting??? congratulation on you build I'm sure your going to be happy
with it once you get the bugs worked out. i think there is a throttle position sensor
also scan for codes.
