Car dies at idle.
This is a ’95 M6 Z with mild bolt-ons.
While idling, or cruising at low rpm, my car will randomly stall. Needless to say this makes driving any considerable distance away from home a dicey trip.
I have swapped out a known-to-be-working pcm and still have the problem.
I have cleaned and double-checked all electrical connections.
Fuel pressure is good. The opti is about a year old.
The problem seems like a short in the wiring, but I’m not sure. The car idles smooth and stalls with no warning.
If it is a short, how would one go about finding it? If it’s likely the problem lies elsewhere, please elaborate.
Thanks.
