car clicks, doesnt start :(

car clicks, doesnt start :(

Hi

guys I got a problem
my car was in storage for a while and now it wont start
it keeps clicking, I thought it needs jumping and I tried that but it didnt help
tried to jump it from a different Z28

do you guys think I need a new battery or is it something else ?


please let me know

probably the battery i've seen where a battery is shot and you try to jump itand still nothing,,take the battery out go to like autozone they test them for you or just spend the fifty bucks and get a new battery

Ya, its most definatly the battery...also try cleaning the corrosion off the connections.

just came back from Farm & Fleet with a new bat in my hand
gonna go try it in a minute

It was the bat !
installed the new bat and it runs ! it runs ! it runs !

sorry for the delay, but I didnt have a long enogh extension to reach the bolt that kept the old bat in place and at first I thought I can wait til tomorrow, but about 10mins or so later I quickly got into my beater and went to walmart
