Caprice Lt1
Nope, all B-bodys got 2 bolt mains. However there are stories of Gm replacing 2 bolt short blocks with 4 bolt short blocks if a motor was pulled under warranty. So there probably are a few 4 bolt B-bodies out there but if its from the factory it has two bolts.
Buick roadmasters came with lt1's as well. (in case anyone cares) One in the yard with a totalled rear would be a find for a motor pull
Of course there are prolly difference in heads and other small details as mentioned above

I dont think I could pass on an lt1 for 500 bux, even though i have no use for it.
Heck I'll build a bad-@$$ dune-buggy or something

Well, you're close. Make that 94-96. That being Caprice-Impala-Roadmaster-Fleetwood. Each oem equipped with 10 bolts holding up the crank.

yea, I looked closer and you're right. ConsumerGuide.com was a little unclear that it was in 94 that the engine changed...

It may be more that I misunderstood it.
Bacardi Limon on the rocks does some weird stuff to your head....
what did you send me that link for? I keep clicking it and it takes me back here. For some reason I seem to think that it will take me somewhere else if I keep clicking it. You're messing with my head man!

Thanks for the comment. A lot of people ask me (none f-body people) now that they are painted weither they are functional or not. When I say no their like, that's gay. I just glare at them....
My motor on my car was replaced under warranty at a dealer, I wonder if mine is a 4-bolt? That would be sweet
I have the paperwork around here somewhere with the part # for the GM LT1 crate motor.
